Amgen Cymru can provide you a number of services to help you and your business. Amgen Cymru is committed in assisting you with landfill alternatives.

Bryn Pica is an integrated waste management facility providing a variety of waste recycling and disposal services to residents and businesses of Rhondda Cynon Taf. The site provides a Sorting Area, Confidential Shredding Service and a Free Waste Audit Service.

In addition Amgen Cymru on behalf of Rhondda Cynon Taf also manages a fully operational Material Recycling Facility, one on site Community Recycling Centre and 5 satellite Community Recycling Centres throughout the borough.

Local Authority (mostly household) waste from RCTCBC - 70%
Other local waste sources - 30%

The Welsh Assembly Government has now set targets for the local authorities throughout Wales;

2009/10 – 40% of waste must be recycled
2012/13 – 52%
2015/16 – 58%
2019/20 – 65%
2024/25 – 70%
